Good evening all, the term triangle and square is used a lot when practicing aikido. What do we mean by this?

I hope I understand it correctly and Sensei will correct me if I haven't grasped it but as I understand it, it's the 'shape' of the postures and stances we move through and into during application of technique. Hanmi is the triangle, the best for enabling movement and with good stability, we move in circles even during irimi, moving our attacker around our stable centre, (sometimes the circles are small and subtle but even Irimi nage omote involves a circle around their third point to take posture) into square, powerful postures when delivering the technique (the best indicator that the hips are properly engaged), and then come full circle back to triangle Hanmi.
